Faith is not an insurance policy against bad things, it is a belief that things happen for a reason

Filmnut Show

Filmnut  is a live show about the making, marketing and distribution of film, TV and new media.  It is kind of like the Actor’s Studio online except I interview below the line crew in addition to above the line.

In addition to hosting, I was the show’s writer, and together with Stream.Tv founder Brian Gramo, we executive produced the show.

We shot 142 long format interviews plus a lot of clips!  Below is just a sampling…

We hit our 100th episode in season 4 so we did a special where Brian and I looked back at our favorite interviews to that point: and show some clips from them:

In season two we had future Co-head of DC Studios and future Guardians Of The Galaxy writer/director, James Gunn:

We didn’t do many two person interviews but what a great way to kick off season 5 – with an amazing couple, Michael Biehn of Terminator fame, and Jennifer Blanc (Dark Angel):

This is with Actor Joel David Moore, one of the stars of Avatar who came on a few days before the release. A great memory for me here is his manager reached out to me to get him on the show, I was like cool people are coming to us now, we must be doing something right!:

Here is an interview with Kate Levering from the Lifetime show Drop Dead Diva and also on to promote a great indie film she starred in, along with Mira Sorvino, Like Dandelion Dust:

This was my second interview with Renee O’Connor, who played Gabrielle on Xena:Warrior Princess… Wow does that show have a loyal following! I was a huge fan of Xena. These interviews were fantastic and covered a lot! Renee also stuck around for bonus clips and answered more viewer questions:

This was the second time we had Emmy winning director Michael Lembeck on the show… Very knowledgeable and very funny!

I’m a huge Star Trek fan! (I’m guessing not a big surprise after my Xena confession above) It was out of this world to have Tim Russ, AKA Lt. Tuvok, on from Star Trek Voyager:

Here is one for writers, with script consultant Pilar Alessandra:
