Faith is not an insurance policy against bad things, it is a belief that things happen for a reason

Music

You should see the reaction I get when I tell people I can rap!  With the help of talented musicians, I sing as well. Check out my playlist!

You think NFL quarterbacks are overpaid? I’m The Quarterback is a comedic cosplay rap about the situation and the cliches used to justify QB salaries. This is rapper “Crazy Old Head’s” dream, to deck himself out in jerseys with some hot cheerleaders and rap about it. The video also features a parody of Stephen A. Smith and pays homage to an Oscar winning actor.

Written & Directed by Jeff Schubert. Track Produced by https://SFRbeats.com/. Additional composing/Mixing/Producing by Korey Grate. Cinematographer – Jonathan Cocco.

Tick Tock – LCS Rap plays over the end credits of my latest short film, Like, Comment, and Share. A dark comedy about the effects social media can have on a person.

Walking The WalkThis is a rap that was inspired by Eminem‘s Lose Yourself and Cypress Hills Rap Superstar.  When thinking about music for a project I was like, it’d be great to have a rap like one of those. There was no budget for it, so as they say, necessity is the mother of invention. A visualizer / lyric video is coming soon! But here is the rap…

What Message Does It Send? Not a rap, but a call to arms song about cancer.  Give a listen and get inspired to help spread and share the message to prevent and fight this horrific disease!

Force WithinSo I was really bored at work one day when I wrote the lyrics to this next rap. I kind of laughed when I finished it and said to myself, dude you really need to quit this job! Anyway the video’s images are a mix of Star Wars and non-SW images that popped into my mind.

No MoreI was in Portland Oregon to attending a film festival when I wrote the lyrics for ‘No More’. I see the song as a call for embracing, or pursuing, free will, individuality and tolerance.

Standing ThereThis is a fun song, maybe a little cheesy, but it works perfectly for the opening of one of my films!
